Princess Anne was the only child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip who was born on August 15, 1950. Ann was married to Olympic gold medalist Captain Mark Phillips. However, in her marriage to Phillips, she gave birth to a son, Peter, and a daughter, Zara. She separated from Phillips in 1989.

Princess Anne later married Sir Timothy Lawrence whom she dated for a long time. Although she never gave royal titles to her children.
