On his latest podcast “The Honest Bunch”, Nedu made this claim.
He claims that the peace of mind that sidekicks provide allows most men with nagging spouses to endure their marriage.
In his words:
“God bless every side chick out there. Side chicks give men peace of mind. Sometimes, before the man gets home, he visits his side chick’s place to cool off.
“So, when he gets home and his wife starts shouting, ‘Papa Nkechi, where have you gone?’, he will take it because he has already chilled at a side chick’s place.
Nedu’s words have however provoked a backlash from his followers who are not very happy with his opinion, while some may relate.

Another shocking revelation has been made by media personality Nedu, this time by a celebrity Lagos priest whose church is located on an island.
The controversial OAP claimed the popular cleric, who has withheld his identity, had slept with his women.
He claims that one of his male friends has been trying to date a church woman, but his advances have been rejected.
He said that several people, including the woman, were communicating with the minister.
He revealed that both he and his wife preach on the altar, giving more information about the minister.
This has caused a stir on the internet as people try to find out which minister he is referring to.
Many people mention Harvesters Church and Rock House Church.
“He will find one church where young people go. He will find one church on the island, young people go to church. The priest preaches, his wife preaches.
One of my boys goes to church, and babies he follows a path to church we are not happy for him, and the minister sweeps them”, he said in Pidgin.*
