Kristin Chenoweth he is officially married! The 55-year-old Broadway legend said “I do” to his girlfriend Josh Bryant41, in a Dallas wedding that took place on Sept. 2, PEOPLE first reported. HollywoodLife has reached out to Kristin’s rep for additional comment.
“I’ve been a self-proclaimed bachelor all my life,” said the Pushing daisies the star told the outlet. “I was never going to get married. I was even engaged before and I couldn’t do it. Until I met Josh. Then I said, ‘Why would I ever let this one go?’ I am so blessed.”
Kristin revealed her stunning wedding dress in photos she posted on Instagram. She chose not to wear white for her wedding. The Pamella Roland strapless dress was covered in a pretty nude and pink with a bow detail on the back. Her wedding dress was decorated with small pearl flowers.
Stars like Kathy Najimy, Catherine McPhee, David Foster, Kenneth Ortega, and more attended Kristin and Josh’s special day. For the reception, Kristin and Josh had a famous cocktail called the “Wicked Margarita”, in honor of Kristin’s role as Glinda the Good Witch in the Broadway. The couple also served Dunkin Donuts and 7-11 Slurpees as late night snacks.
The wedding also happened to be Josh’s 41st birthday. A few hours before their wedding, Kristin gave her musician a birthday shout out on Instagram, but did not comment on the upcoming nuptials. “Happy birthday to my love!!! I love you right away!! “… she wrote.
Kristin and Josh, who is 14 years her junior, started dating in 2018. They first met two years earlier at Kristin’s daughter’s wedding. Josh’s band, Backroad Anthem, played at the wedding. Kristin and Josh got engaged in October 2021.
The couple have been planning their wedding for a long time. Kristin gave an update on the ceremony back in January 2023. “We’re working on it,” Kristin said on Live with Kelly & Ryan. “We’re going to do a little thing and just the closest thing we’ll have [loved ones].”
