Wonder Man crew member dies: A crew member dies after an accident on the set of the Marvel series Wonder Man

An unknown member of the team working on the upcoming Marvel series Wonder Man Died on Tuesday (Wednesday in Australia) after an accident on set, according to a statement from Marvel Studios.

“Our thoughts and condolences are deep with his family and friends, and our support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this accident,” the studio said in a statement to CNN.

The crew member was reported a rigger who fell from a rafter.

Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Charles Miller confirmed that officers responded to 4024 Radford in Studio City, California – the address for CBS Radford Studios – around 6:55 a.m. local time Tuesday for a death investigation.

No foul play is suspected and a death investigation is ongoing, Miller said.

Wonder Man was set to star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, an actor who had appeared in it Aquaman and HBO’s Watchmen.

Wonder Man is a lesser known Marvel character that was first introduced in the 60’s.

The show was scheduled to air on Disney+. It currently has no release date.
