Young Thug Files will be the fourth film to be released on Bond
Young Thug’s the legal team has asked the court to grant him bail for the fourth time. His lawyer Brian Steele says his client is “languishing in the county jail,” according to a recently filed motion.
In the motion, filed on April 24 and received by 11 aliveSteel says Thugger can’t stay healthy and noted that his client has limited healthy food options.

He says the rapper relies on foods with “zero health benefits,” like chocolate and chips.
In addition, he says the rapper has had little access to fresh air and sunlight since May 2022. The only exception is when he is transported to and from the courthouse. Exercise, too, is limited because of his small prison cell.

Steel went on to claim that the rapper is always “sleep deprived” because he only gets five hours of sleep a night, and when he appears in court, he has to wake up by 3 or 4 a.m., yes the revolution reporting.
Contracts have left Thugger unable to take care of his case properly
His lawyer said that the conditions have made it impossible for Thugger to pay attention and stay on his case.
“By the end of the week, Mr. Williams is fighting to pay attention to what is going on in his case,” Steel said in the motion.
Steel ultimately asked the court to consider granting Williams bond and that “conditions may be imposed that allow bond to be set,” according to 11Alive.
Thugger, legal name Jeffery Williams, has been in custody since his arrest on charges that accuse him of leading the “Young Slime Life” gang. The alleged gang reportedly claims to be affiliated with the Bloods.

Thug faces a gang activity charge from 2018 along with a 2013 conspiracy to oppose Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO Act) charge.
Thug has maintained his innocence throughout the trial, marred by several issues from the start. That includes the arrest of a lawyer, Anastassios Manettas, who represents another defendant in the case.
Jury selection in the YSL RICO trial is now entering its fifth month of proceedings.
Meanwhile, next month will mark one year since prosecutors handed down the original indictment alleging that YSL committed nearly 200 criminal acts in its capacity as a street gang.
The YSL RICO trial is on track to break records as the longest criminal trial in Fulton County history, 11Alive reports.
