Speaking at the farm land site located in Daza area along Kaura Namoda Road outside Gusau today, Executive Chairman of the Board, Malam Abubakar, said the management has unanimously approved the transfer of four hectares of land to the Unguwar Gwaja Cemetery Committee. Led by the State Deputy Governor, Senator Hassan Nasiha.
Malam Sodangi reiterated the Board’s commitment to facilitate continuous collection of Zakat and Waqf from individuals for further distribution to the needy.
In his remarks, the Lt. Governor said that not all cemeteries in the Tudun Wada area of the state capital have space available and with the new development, the additional four hectares of donated land will be used for a graveyard housing the deceased Muslim members of the community and thereby contribute to it. To overcome space constraints.
Mr Nasiha was accompanied by Special Adviser Alhaji Sani, Chairman and Board of Directors of Zakat and many others.
